When a hip-hop artist puts out a track called "I'm Ill," its a statement.
Every rapper who has ever graced the booth HAS to make this claim, its a necessary piece of an MC's repertoire.
Skewby has made the claim, and he does it by doing the opposite of what you expect; (cliched metaphors, hyperbole, excessive bragging, etc) I expect most hip-hop heads to approach a track titled "I'm Ill" with extreme caution, but as soon as you catch the Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock sample spliced with the repeated declarations of "I'm Ill", you will take the bait.
Red Cafe should be ashamed (I kid, I kid)
Don't forget, its Skewby.
Dude is still proving you wrong… Shout out to the whole 88 Team.
