Team Skewby Takes on the City of Angels
Today begins a new and exciting chapter for Skewby, DJ Charlie White, Reggie P and Antonio "The Manager" Tubbs.

Day One: Wednesday, May 19th 2010
6:35 A.M.
Early AM flight to LA with the crew. Reggie P, The Manager, Skewby, and myself.
We should get there around noon.
We gotta head straight to LRG offices for a meeting.
This promo run is going to be good for the whole team
3:45 P.M.
Just stopped at the infamous In and Out Burger before the meetings with LRG.
It was the best burger I've had in a minute – The strawberry shake? Shitttt.
On the 405 heading to this meeting with the camp.
8:15 P.M.
Enjoying a white russian and some sushi as I'm watching the Lakers game.
Man, it feels good to be in Hollywood.
We're officially checked in to our hotel – our view is crazy:
Capitol Records, the Hollywood Sign, Kodak theater. I just saw the stars on the walk of fame for the 1st time.
9:45 P.M.
We have DJ Crumbz little brother out here as a tour guide (which has been the shit so far).
We're headed out for the night. At a bar with three Hip Hop heads from the UK who happened to be staying at our hotel.
Reggie P took a bet for free meals to ride a mechanical bull.
Highlight of my night so far, haha.
11:30 P.M
Just got a call from Free Sol, who is also out here, working with Justin Timberlake in the studio.
Having a few drinks at a mansion in the Hollywood Hills.
Grey Goose. Pretty epic end to our first day out here. Goodnight.
Day Two: Thursday, May 20th 2010
11:00 A.M.
Getting ready to leave the Renaissance Hotel.
Shortly, we'll be on our way to Interscope records for a quick meeting.
11:35 A.M.
Driving past some major land marks: LAX, Capitol Records – so much history.
2:12 P.M.
Another important stop on this promo run?
Fat Beats LA…Hip Hop mecca and hot spot
3:37 P.M.
We've decided to hit up the many hot boutiques on Fairfax and Melrose.
Fat Beats LA is ill – I just scored some free tickets to the DMC Finals in Long Beach and chopped it up with the homie Lupe Fiasco.
Its official – We're in Hollywood.
11:35 P.M.
Winding down now – what a big day in a small world.
We ran into Mike Waxx of ill Roots in our hotel lobby.
Next up: Dinner at the Roosevelt Hotel – Resting up for Day 3, then breakfast at Roscoe's chicken and waffles??? Who knows.
Day Three: Friday May 21st 2010
12:00 P.M.
On the way towards Long Beach, CA with the homie James (Lil DJ Crumbz)
1:37: P.M.
We grabbed some of those infamous fish tacos and a beer before the DMC Dj finals – shout out to Fat Beats for the hook up.
Its definitely dope to finally catch the DMCs, I used to watch A Trak and QBert rock these competitions when I first started.
Its a blessing to have rocked college parties back home in VA, leading to everything happening right now.
I'm staying positive – That's what this experience has been about so far.
5:55 P.M.
Just saw the Pacific ocean for the first time. I'm inspired.
Day Four: Saturday May 22nd 2010
11:00 A.M.
It's our final day in L.A. before we head back to Memphis.
We're hanging out downtown to promote some today.
Ran into Fabolous on Melrose, Ocho Cinco at the Beverly Mall, Shawn Merriman in the hotel.
LA is always busy
1:30 A.M.
At the club with DJ Warrior
3:35 A.M.
Left the club to go sit-in with Free Sol's studio session with Justin Timberlake.
The album sounds amazing.
Show with them on May 28th I gotta get ready for.
5:00 A.M.
We're currently headed to LAX Everything was beautiful about this trip.
Full wrap up with pictures when I get back to Memphis – I need to upload pictures and reflect on the trip.
